This tutorial was written on February 10, 2009 and is of my own imagination. Any resemblance to any other tutorial is pure coincidence. Please
do not use the same images/tubes as I have unless you are licensed to do so.
Supplies Needed:
Tube of choice. I am using a tube by Elias Chatzoudis. You can get his work here.
The Scrap Kit I used for this is by Liv Luvs Scraps and is called "Eclectic". It's FTU (Free to Use) kit that you can download here.
The font I used is called Astigma. You can find it on dafont.com.
A Mask of Choice. Sorry I can't remember where I found this mask so I won't be linking to it.
KayExclusive's Template1. Kay has a wide variety of awesome templates for taggers. You can download the template I'm using here.
You will need the plug ins Eyecandy 5 Impact/Bevel and Eyecandy 4000/Gradient Glow for parts of this tutorial.
Animation Shop if you plan on animating it.
Let's get started!
Open a 500x500 transparent image and flood fill it white.
Open LLS-Eclectic-Paper-Stars and copy/paste it into your image. Right click on the mask layer in your layers menu and choose Merge/Merge
group. Double click your mask layer and change the opacity to 60%.
Open Kay's Template1. Copy/Paste the layer "R Background" into your tag image. Position it off center towards the right, you can refer back
to my tag if you need too. Select your magic wand tool and click the rectangle. You should now have marching ants around the rectangle layer.
Open LLS-Eclectic-Paper-DustyPink and copy/paste it into your image behind the rectangle layer. Right click on the dusty pink paper layer and
select "Promote Selection to Layer." Go to your toolbar and click Selections/Select None. Delete the original "R Background" layer and the
original dusty pink paper layer.
Using Kay's Template1 again, find the layer "Rectangle Frame" and copy/paste it into your image. Select your magic wand tool and click the frame.
Select your flood fill tool and fill the selection with black (#000000). Go to your toolbar and click Select/Select None. Click on
Effects/Plug Ins/Alien Skin Eyecandy 5: Impact/Bevel.
Use these bevel settings:

Leave all the other settings default.
Drop Shadow on the frame. Shadow settings are:

Back to Kay's Template. Find the layer "LS Background" and copy/paste it into your image. Position it towards the left of your image, refer to
my tag if need to. Select your magic wand tool and click your new layer. You should now have marching ants around the LS Background Layer.
Open LLS-Eclectic-Paper-Green and copy/paste it into your image behind the LS Background layer. Right click on the green paper and click
"Promote Selection to Layer." Go to your toolbar and click Selections/Select none. In your layers menu, delete the LS Background layer.
In Kay's Template find the layer "Large Square." Copy/paste it into your image and position it above your green rectangle. Select your
selections tool and click on the large square border. Flood fill it black. Apply Effects/Alien Skin Eyecandy 5: Impact/Bevel. Drop shadow to
the frame.
Your tag should now look something like this:

Using Kay's Template, find the layer "Frames Background" and copy/paste it into your image. Position it towards the right of your dusty pink
rectangle layer but leave some of the frames over the dusty pink layer. Refer to my tag if you need too. Select your magic wand tool.
Holding Shift, click both boxes. Go back to the green paper layer we left in the layers menu and right click it, select "promote selection to
layer." Go to your toolbar Selections/Select None. Delete the frames layer and the original green paper layer.
Back to Kay's Template, find the layer "Small Frame Top" and copy/paste it into your image. Position it over one of your green squares. Paste
the frame in again and position it over your other green square. Using your magic wand, hold shift and click both frames. Flood fill with
black. Apply Alien Skins Eyecandy 5: Impact/Bevel. Drop shadow to frames.
In Kay's Template, find the large star layer (not the frame, the grayscaled star) and copy/paste it into your image. Position it in the middle of your small squares and the green
rectangle. Open LLS-Eclectic-Paper-Stars and copy/paste it into your image underneath the large star layer.
Select your magic wand tool, make sure your large star layer is highlighted in your layer menu and click the star in your image. You should now
have marching ants around your star. Right click the paper layer and select "promote layer to background." Delete the original star layer and
paper layer.
Find the "Large Star" frame layer in Kay's template. Copy/Paste it into your image and position it over your star. Use your magic wand tool
and click the frame. Flood fill the frame black and apply the Impact/Bevel plug in. Drop shadow.
Let's Merge some layers. In your layer menu, merge the dusty pink frame, dusty pink rectangle, large green frame and rectangle together.
Keeping the star as it's own layer, merge the stars frame and the star together.
Click your star layer and select Effect/Eyecandy 4000/Gradient Glow. Use these settings:

Open your tube and copy/paste it into your tag image. Resize it if you need to, I resized my tag 80%. Position it over your large green
rectangle and drop shadow.
Your tag should now look something like this:

In Kay's template, find the layer "ST Background" and copy/paste it into your tag image. Position it towards the top of your tube and dusty
pink rectangle. If the stars over hang your tube, drag the stars layer below your tube layer in your layer menu. Refer back to my tag for
positioning if needed.
Duplicate your tube layer. Position part of your tube under the first star. Using your magic wand select the first star. On your duplicated
tube image right click it in the layer menu and promote selection to layer. Select/None.
Repeat this step until all 4 stars have part of your tube as the fill. Delete the original stars layer and your duplicated tube.
Find the layer, "Stars Top" in Kay's Template and copy/paste it into your image. Position these over the line of stars. Holding shift and
using your magic wand, click each star frame. Flood fill the frames with black and apply Eyecandy 5: Impact/Bevel using the same settings as
the rest of the frames. Drop shadow.
Merge the frames with the stars. Go to Effects/Plug Ins/Eyecandy 4000/Gradient Glow and apply the same gradient glow as your large star.
Duplicate this layer. Go to Image/Mirror. Now select Image/Flip. Resize the duplicated layer 80% and position these on the bottom right of
your tag image. Refer to my tag if needed. Merge your two star line layers together.
Select your text tool. I used the font Astigma, with a font fill of the green paper and a stroke width of 2 and stroke fill of the dusty pink
paper. Type out your name. Position your name to your liking and drop shadow.
Your tag should now look something like this:

Duplicate your tube layer again. In your tool bar click Image/Mirror. Position the tube over your small green squares. If your tube overlaps
the frames, drag the tube layer in between the frames and the background. With your magic wand tool, select the top frame. Go to
Selections/Modify/Expand and expand it by 8 pixels, hit ok. Right click your duplicated tube layer in the layer menu and promote layer to
selction. Select/None.
Working with the bottom green square now, position a different part of your tube in the square and repeat the above step.
Change the opacity of your two promoted tube layers to 60%. If you aren't animating your tag add your tube's artist's copyrights/watermarks
and your license number, delete the duplicated tube, save and you're done. If you are animating your tag continue on to the following steps.
** For Animation **
Add your tube's artist's copyrights/watermarks and your license number.
Hide your duplicated tube. Select the promoted tube layer in the top box. Duplicate it and position it in the bottom box under the bottom
box's duplicated tube layer and hide it.
Select the first promoted tube layer in the bottom box. Duplicate it and position it in the top box under the top box's duplicated tube layer.
Unhide your duplicated tube layer. Position a part of your tube that hasn't been promoted into a layer yet into the box on top. Select your magic
wand tool, making sure our top box frame is selected, click it with your magic wand, promote your duplicated tube to layer and change opacity to
60%. Deleted your duplicated tube.
Duplicate your new promoted layer and position it in the bottom box. In your layer menu make this new promoted layer you 2nd layer in the bottom
box.
Your layer menu should now look like this with promoted tube layers:

Notice how each thumbnail is positioned in my layer menu so we don't have the same thumbnail in rotation during the animation.
Your tag should now look something like this:

** Time to Animate **
Making sure only the first image thumbnails for both boxes is visible (see above layer menu pic for example) go to edit/copy merged.
Open Animation Shop and go to Edit/Paste/As New Animation.
Click on Animation/Frame Properties in the toolbar. Change the frame speed from 10 to 80 and click ok.
Back to PSP. Hide the first thumbnails in your layer menu and make the second thumbnails visible.
Select Edit/Copy Merged and go back to Animation Shop.
Select Edit/Paste/After Current Frame. Change the Frame Properties to 80 again. Back to PSP.
Hide these thumbnails and make your last thumbnails visible. Copy/Merged and go back to Animation Shop.
Select Edit/Paste/After Current Frame. Change the frame properties to 80.
Click on View/Animation in the toolbar to check your tags animation. If you like how it looks, click on File/Save As and save it.
That's it your done. Thanks for doing my tutorial.
