This tutorial was written on January 24, 2009 and is of my own imagination. Any resemblance to any other tutorial is pure coincidence. Please do not use the same images/tubes as I have unless you are licensed to do so.

Supplies Needed:
Tube of choice. I am using a tube by Keith Garvey. You can get his work here.

The font I used is called Angelina and you can find it on dafont.com.

You will need the Filter/Plug In DSB Flux/Blast.

Let's get started!

Open a 500x500 transparent image.

Open the tube you are using and copy/paste it into your image. In your layers menu, duplicate your tube 2 times. Highlight your top layer and click on Image/Free Rotate. Rotate your tube layer right 15 degrees. Click on your second tube layer and rotate is left 10 degrees. Click your third tube layer and rotate it left 15 degrees. Merge your three tube layers.

Click on Effects/PlugIns/DSB Flux/Blast.
Use these settings:



Apply Blast again except this time make the direction "Right".

You should now have something that looks like this:



Find and open Template 13. Click on the layer called "Large Grey Square" and copy/paste it into your image.

Open paper "CS_JLM_Paper10" and copy/paste it behind your "Large Grey Square" layer. Select your magic wand tool. Make sure your "Large Grey Square" layer is selected in your layer menu. Click the "Large Grey Square" in your image. (marching ants should now be around your grey square) Go back to your layer menu and right click on your paper layer. Select "promote selection to layer". Click on Select/Select None. Now delete your paper layer and the large grey square layer.

Click on your light blue square layer and drop shadow. Drop shadow settings are: -1, -1, 60, 4.

Open Template 13 again. Click on the layer called "Light Grey Square" and copy/paste it into your image. Position this layer to the right edge of your promoted selection layer.

Open paper "CS_JLM_Paper2" and copy/paste it behind your "Light Grey Square" layer. Select your magic wand tool. Make sure your "Light Grey Square" layer is selected in your layer menu. Click the "Light Grey Square" in your image. (marching ants should now be around your grey square) Go back to your layer menu and right click on your paper layer. Select "promote selection to layer". Click on Select/Select None. Now delete your paper layer and the light grey square layer.

Click on your red square layer and drop shadow. Same settings as before.

Your tag should now look something like this:



Go back to Template 13. Click the layer called "White Square" and copy/paste it into your image. Position this layer like I have in my tag.

Open paper "CS_JLM_Paper7" and copy/paste it behind your "White Square" layer. Select your magic wand tool. Make sure your "White Layer" is selected in your layer menu. Click the "White Square" in your image. (marching ants should now be around your white square) Go back to your layer menu and right click on your paper layer. Select "promote selection to layer". Click on Select/Select None. Now delete your paper layer and the white square layer.

Click on your tan paper square and drop shadow. Same settings as before.

Open Template 13 again. Click on the layer called "Frame Background" and copy/paste it into your image. Position this layer towards the center of your tag

Open paper "CS_JLM_Paper5" and copy/paste it behind your "frame background" layer. Select your magic wand tool. Make sure your "frame background" layer is selected in your layer menu. Click the "frame background" in your image. (marching ants should now be around your frame background) Go back to your layer menu and right click on your paper layer. Select "promote selection to layer". Click on Select/Select None. Now delete your paper layer and the frame background layer.

Click on your dark blue layer and drop shadow. Same settings as before.

Your tag should now look something like this:



Go back to Template 13. Click on the layer called "Black Frame" and copy/paste it into your image. Position this layer over your blue square layer and rotate it to the right a little bit. Refer back to my tag for positioning if you need too.

Open paper "CS_JLM_Paper3" and copy/paste it behind your "black frame" layer. Select your magic wand tool. Make sure "black frame" layer is selected in your layer menu. Click the "black frame" in your image. (marching ants should now be around the inside and outside of your black frame) Go to your layer menu and right click on the paper layer. Select "promote selection to layer". Click on Select/Select None. Now delete your paper layer and the black frame layer.

Make sure your yellow frame layer is highlighted in your layer menu. Click on Effects/PlugIns/DSB Flux/Blast.
Blast Settings are:



Add a drop shadow to your yellow frame. Same settings as before.

Open the tube you are using. Copy/Paste it into your image. Position it to your liking over the blue square layer and yellow frame layer. Delete any part of the bottom of the tube that hangs below the blue square layer and yellow frame layer. Add drop shadow to your tube.

Your tag should now look something like this:


Open "CS_JLM_MetalButton3" and copy/paste it into your image. Resize it down. Position it over the left hand bottom corner of your yellow frame. You can refer back to my tag if needed.

Open "CS_JLM_Doodle3" and copy/paste it into your image. Rotate it so it's vertical and resize down. Click Adjust/Sharpness/Sharpen. Click Adjust/Add-Remove Noise/Add Noise.

Noise settings are:



Position the doodle so the small curl is below the metal button and the doodle is slightly hiding behind your tube. See my tag for reference if needed.

Open "CS_JLM_RibbonBuckle4" and copy/paste it into your image. Resize down and rotate slightly to the right. Click on Adjust/sharpness/sharpen. Add your drop shadow. In your layer menu drag the ribbon buckle below the blue rectangle layer. Position it like I have in my tag.

Your tag should now look something like this:



Open Song Word Art 3. Choose a word art of your choice. I chose "dream on". Resize it down and position it to your liking. Click Adjust/HueAndSaturation/Hue-Saturation and recolor your word art to your liking. Add Drop Shadow.

Add your tubes copyrights/watermarks and your license number.

Click on your text tool. Choose a font you want to use. I used a font called Angelina. Font coloring: background #688cb1 and foreground #ffffff. Add a stroke width of 1 and type your name.

Position your name to your liking and drop shadow.
